Don't judge a book by its cover
The phone arrived in perfect packaging and in new condition as per the exterior however the inside was a different story. A few hours after setup the display failed hence I was unable to unlock my phone as the screen would only flash on for less than a second. This made the alarm I had managed to set before failure particularly annoying. Fortunately there was a tiny enough warranty period left to swap out with a working device.
