This item (13 inch pink) was sent to me in return for an honest review. I like this case/cover it is sleek and attractive and very easy to open and close. Manufacturing quality is high; the zip is strong and the stitching is good. It is also a lovely colour and would make the perfect gift for a girly girl! It has a removable key tag and a small ring so that you can attach accessories such as keyrings and charms.
It is great for when you want to carry around documents, notepads etc, and as a cover for your laptop/notebook it will not bulk up your bag too much as it is very slim. I would agree that it is water resistant to a certain extent in that it will protect your stuff if carried around in the rain, but it is unlikely to protect your things if it gets soaked.
As the padding is quite thin, I would say that your device would be protected from only minor knocks, so if you want a heavy duty case then this is not for you. It should certainly protect your device...
