Good sounding with stock tubes, but amazing with Voskhod tubes

For years, I've been a happy owner of the excellent sounding Graham Slee solo SRG II solid state amp to drive my HD650 headphones, but I've always been curious about the tube sound and wondered what the Little Dot MK III tube amp sounded like. My curiosity eventually got the better of me and I ordered one from Little Dot "davidzhezhe" on ebay. David (the owner) tests each amp before shipment and offers a top quality service and excellent communication. It also worked out cheaper than buying one from resellers in the UK.
The amp itself is quite large and heavy. It's entirely made of metal (steel and aluminum) and extremely well built. The amps stylish, vintage aesthetics are extremely pleasing on the eye and I love the slight glow emitted from each tube.
