Welcome Sceen freezes, sorted.
Would give more stars but as it's not working properly I can't, It freezes on the Welcome screen and I have to turn it off and on several times before it boots up. When it does work it seems very good, clear video in the day (I did not try at night) good play back on the built in screen and via the TV, because of the freezing problem it does not start up automatically when turning on the ignition which defeats the object.
Doing some research on the web it looks like the freezing on the welcome startup screen is a common issue but I am going to risk buying another and hope this will work as it is a good dash cam for the price.

Returned and got a refund.
After taking ages looking at different dash cams I came back to this one, I purchased the capacitor version and it is working well with none of the previous problems, just completed a 700 mile trip and all good, just turns on and off with the ignition so just drive and forget.
