Simply the Best
I have had this for some two weeks now and I am more than impressed. I use it in my daily activities from HIIT sprints to power walking. I Bluetooth connect with my android phone linking with the app DigiFit iCardio and get a full read out throughout my route/activity. It never misses a beat even during strenuous workouts approaching my HRmax. I have read elsewhere and here in the reviews that some individuals have problems with missed beats or inability to track high heart rates. I have had no such problems--it is rock solid accurate to date. The Mio Alpha uses light beams and an optical sensor for skin blood flow. So position and tightness of strap are critical for accurate readings. Is there an issue with skin colour? I am very light skinned. Or is their a connection problem--do check on your mobile phone compatibility. I have an HTC One and the combination of this with the MIO, iCardio and my Fitbit One is mustard. I will update in a few weeks if any longer term use problems...
