Much better than it says on the tin!
I purchased this somewhat casually, as what I actually needed was a VDSL cable, and it clearly said ADSL, which when delivered, the packaging even has a little diagram indicating an operating speed of 8Mbit! I was replacing a fibre setup which had an Openreach modem close to the fibre master socket, linked to the old router in my office by a 10m LAN cable, with a new fibre router. Hence the need for a 10m VDSL cable to run directly from master socket to new router in the office. Obviously, the cable reviewed here is plug compatible, with RJ11 at each end, but would it carry a VDSL signal? As it happens, perfectly! I need not have worried, the new router says the VDSL carrier is coming in at 39.806Mbits, of a nominal 40Mbit, the fibre box is about 500m away, so this is as good as it can get, with a PC based speed test of a little over 37Mbit. Very satisfactory!
The only possible criticism is that it really should allow itself to be called VDSL, but it would be churlish...
